Refurbished controller provides manufacturer-level performance. Suitable for playing all types of video games. TL;DR version: Used on a PC, plug it in the REAR ports, NOT front. Should prevent any 'getting stuck' on inputs (esp the analog sticks). 4 star just because I can't vouch for it on a PS3.Long version:I wanted to toss this bit of info out there because the Internet suggests this is a common issue. I bought this as a cheap way to test whether a game I'm making works with a controller, and I immediately noticed a bit of an issue with the analog sticks. They got stuck every few seconds, sometimes for half a second, sometimes for 3 seconds, from either gentle or full pressure.Opening the calibration page confirmed they seemed to be getting stuck, and calibration didn't fix it.I saw posts on multiple forums concerning the FFXIV-themed controller that seemed identical to this, with no solution.
On a whim I decided to take the plug out of my front USB port and hook it up in the rear port. I see all kinds of issues with front ports, mainly with my phone, portable hard drive, and I suspect my webcam and Wacom tablet as well, and the issues worsen the longer the computer has been on.
And since I have it on often with Photoshop, Maya and Unity, well, issues pop up.Opened the calibration again after hooking it up in the rear and it works like a charm. Fired up my game to test it out and my character was not sliding as it was before. I figured I would try this before giving up and going for something else and it worked. I'm happy because I work in Walmart's Electronics and I see quite a bit the results of buying the cheapest of a given item.I'll try to update this in the coming weeks if I start to see any other issues, but I'm optimistic. I gave this 4 stars and not 5 because I honestly haven't even begun testing the full extent of this controller, and because I'm not sure how I would solve this issue if I ran across it on an actual PS3, since I'm not a console guy.

The R1/R2/L1/L2 is HARDER to press than standard PS3 controller which makes your fingers tired quicker. The feel of holding the controller is decent. Although it looks slimmer than a PS3 controller it actually is more bulkier. IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY MOTION FEATURES so if you're playing a game that needs motion feature you are out of luck.
In the end in get what you paid for. I would not buy again since my game requires the motion feature. Buy the real deal and buy it once.
You'll be a lot more satisfied. I was looking for a cheap controller for a convention.
Something wired and if it breaks, no biggie.I've only used the one of the two I've purchased so far and I've had no issues with the joysticks or top buttons. The shoulder buttons have been an issue since I first started playing instead. I tried playing Jet Set Radio, Pinball arcade, and GTA V on this controller and all actions that require the shoulder buttons either do not happen or are delayed by one full second. It may have been the controller I am using, but I do not want to continue using these.
